Obituary of Gino Citton

With saddened hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Gino Citton on December 16, 2025 in his 95th year with family at his side. Gino was predeceased by his wife Angela of 63 years who passed away almost five years ago. Beloved father of Jim (Barb) Citton and Lisa (Dario) Battel.  Proud and cherished Nonno of David (April) Citton, Matthew (Catie) Citton, Lauren and Alesandro Battel, and loving Bisnonno to Abigail Citton, and Matthew and Catie’s baby on the way. He will also be missed by his many relatives whom he loved dearly across Canada, Italy, Australia and USA.  Gino was so proud of each of his grandchildren, and he was a role model for hard work. Gino loved to spend time with his grandchildren, bake, garden and make wine.  He was blessed by his extended family and friends on Regal Drive & Northcrest Dr who admired his flower beds and enjoyed his baking.  We would like to thank the staff at Oakcrossing for their compassionate care.

Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday December 19th from 5- 8pm.   Funeral service will be on Saturday, December 20th at John T, Donohue Funeral Home at 10am with Entombment at Holy Family Mausoleum - St. Peter's Cemetery to follow.
