Louis Squissato

June 23, 1929- December 4, 2025

Peacefully at AgeCare London on Thursday, December 4, 2025, Louis Squissato in his 97th year. Beloved husband of Tekla Mary Squissato and loving father of Ginny Squissato (Brad Walters). He will be greatly missed by his nephews Germano, Frank and Adriano. 

He was sassy, feisty, loud, swore a few times in his life and loved a conversation with a no holds barred personality.  Gave the nursing home staff a run for their money up to the end.

He wanted to live forever, but lately felt he only had a good 2 more years ahead of him.  Sadly 96 years caught up with him.

He enjoyed a good dance whether in his younger days looking dapper in suede shoes or up until a year ago wearing velcro slippers and baggy track pants.  He did the dance of life for longer than all of his 12 siblings.

Tekla, Ginny and Brad would like to thank all those who looked after him, visited him and thought of him often.

Heaven will never be the same again with him in it.

In lieu of charities he would have loved to be surrounded by flowers.

Visitors will be received at St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, London on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 10 o'clock until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Entombment to follow at Holy Family Mausoleum - St. Peter's Cemetery in London, Ontario.
