Peacefully at LHSC University Hospital, on Sunday, November 30, 2025, Tony Dobravec. Loving husband of 64 years of Gina. Proud father of James (Audra) and Anthony (Emilia). Adored grandpa of Toby and Sydney. Predeceased by his parents Franc and Alojsa Dobravec and his brothers Mirko and Franc. Uncle Tony will be missed by his nieces and nephews. Tony loved camping, hiking, fishing, canoeing, skiing, painting, dancing, and spending time with his family and friends. Tony immigrated to Canada from Slovenia to find work, holding a variety of jobs until settling at the University of Western Ontario for 25 years. Tony was always positive and a fun-loving man. Tony will be greatly missed.
Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday, December 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Prayers will be said at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Church, 1251 Dundas Street, on Friday, morning, December 5 at 9:30 am. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations to London Health Sciences Foundation (www.lhsf.ca) or the United Way(https://unitedwayem.ca) would be appreciated.
