It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Amelia Hagan, who passed peacefully at Blue Water Rest Home at the age of 94.

A devoted and longtime member of St. Michael’s Church, Mary lived her faith with quiet dedication and grace. She also spent many years working as a teacher, a vocation she cherished deeply, before retiring.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, Charles Hagan and Susanna (Smith) Hagan, as well as her late cousins Patricia Mittelholtz of London, Florence Hillborn of Ft. Lauderdale, Norbet Mittelholtz of Burlington, Edward Mittelholtz of Exeter, Kenneth Mittelholtz of Zurich, Brother Bob of India. She will be dearly missed and is survived by her cousins Jen Skinner, and Sister Carol Mittelholtz.

 She also leaves behind many cherished friends, including Mary Carol Hurley, the late Peggy Askey, and late Elanore, all of whom held a special place in her life.

Visitation will take place at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo St., London, ON, on Sunday, November 30, where guests will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael’s Parish, 511 Cheapside St., London, ON, on Tuesday, December 2 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 806 Victoria St., London, ON.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice, in honour of Mary’s memory.
