Obituary of Boris WIlliam Golf

In Loving Memory of Boris – The Man Who Painted Life in Every Shade

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Boris William Golf on November 23, 2025. A proud member of the family-owned Golf Painting and Golf Homes, Boris spent decades painting houses across the community — but his real gift was the way he painted the lives of everyone lucky enough to know him with humour, warmth, and unforgettable colour. Humble and genuine, Boris never sought the spotlight; instead, he quietly let his kindness, hard work, and generous spirit shine through every brushstroke and every interaction. Boris believed in a few simple but unwavering things: good company, good food, hard work, and a really good bargain — with the occasional stock tip thrown in for good measure. If there was a sale, he found it. If there was a discount, he could spot it before anyone else. And if you talked about paying full price, he'd give you that unmistakable Boris look of disappointment, as if to say, "You know better." But nothing brought Boris more joy than gathering with the people he loved. Whether he was hosting or someone stopped by unannounced, Boris made his home a place where no one ever felt like a guest — just family. His door was always open. At job sites, it was the same. A simple paint project somehow always turned into laughter, music, and shared food. To Boris, his family and friends were his world; they were treasures no bargain could ever match. With a brush in one hand and a beer in the other, Boris brought colour not only to dull walls but to difficult moments. He brightened rooms and lifted spirits, turning ordinary days into memorable ones. His legacy is one of generosity, humour, and a life lived in full, vibrant colour. Boris leaves behind a family who adored him, friends who will forever cherish and smile at the stories that keep his spirit alive, and a world made brighter because of his presence. Though he is gone, the moments, laughter, and love he shared will live on in our memories forever. He is now reunited with his beloved parents and brother, who have already welcomed him home.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Boris' care team at London Health Sciences Centre, Ontario Health at Home, and St. Joseph's Hospice for their remarkable compassion and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Boris.
