It is with deep love and profound sadness that the family of Laurent Delphis “Del” Bourque MCPL (Ret) age 92, of London, Ontario announce his peaceful passing on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Parkwood Institute. Del served honourably in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1957 – 1985.
Del was born April 26, 1933, in Sluice Point Nova Scotia. Del was a beloved son of the late Ludger and Irene Bourque.
Del lived a long and full life, marked by kindness, curiosity and deep devotion to his family and faith. Throughout his years, Del touched the lives of many with his generosity, humour, and quiet strength. He will be remembered for his integrity, his love of photography, crossword puzzles, baseball, hockey, Sunday drives and his wavering support of those he cared about.
Del is survived by his wife Bernice (LeBlanc) of 67 years. He will be deeply missed by his children, Claude (Lise) of Toronto, Patrick (Jeannette) of Fredericton, NB, and Rebecca Walker (David) of St. Catharines, ON. and his cherished grandchildren Cassandra, Natesa and Taylor who will carry forward his spirit and values.
He will also be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He was preceded by his sister Joanne Moulaison (Paul).
Del will be missed by his loving siblings Gladys LeBlanc, Flavien (Pauline), Nathan (Doris), Clarence (Phyllis), Dianne Landry (Roland), Sr. Dolly Bourque, FMA, Bill (Joanne).

Visitors will be received at St. Justin’s Church, 855 Jalna Blvd, on Tuesday morning, November 4 from 10 o’clock until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock. Interment at a later date. Donations to Veterans Care Parkwood Institute c/o St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation would be appreciated.
