Michienzi, Nicola

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nicola "Nick" Michienzi on October 29, 2025, at the age of 76.

Beloved husband to Melina, loving father to Lisa, Nicoletta, Francesco, Daniela, and his loyal pup Enzo. He will be greatly missed by his siblings Antonio (Maria), Rosa Michienzi (Vince), Laura Van Galen, Maria, and Barbara Curley (Francis) and brother-in-law Sam Buragina (Meleny).Missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins; both here and abroad, nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by his parents Vito and Maria, and his brother Francesco, his in-laws, Joseph and Elisabetta Buragina and his brother-in-law Tony Buragina, and sister-in-law Maria Buragina. The family would like to thank the Department of Oncology and the Palliative Care Team at LHSC and the wonderful staff of St. Joseph's Hospice for their excellent care. 

Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday, November 2 from 2-6 o’clock, Prayers will be held at 2 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Church, 511 Cheapside Street, on Monday, November 3 at 10 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery at a later date.
