It is with love and remembrance that we announce the passing of Leonard Harold James Moss, who passed peacefully at his home on October 21, 2025, in his 89th year.

Born in Toronto, Ontario on October 22, 1936, Leonard proudly served his country with distinction in the Canadian Navy, completing two tours aboard the H.M.C.S. Comox. Following his military service, he dedicated his career to managing a security company, where he was known for his leadership, integrity, and strong work ethic.

Leonard enjoyed golf, softball and curling, and loved a good game of poker. He was a big fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and his very last question “did the Jays win last night?”

Leonard was predeceased by his beloved wife of 67 years, Barbara, and his siblings Albert, George, and Marion Moss. He is lovingly remembered by his sons Wayne (Lora), Rick (Colleen), and Cameron (Janet) Moss. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Amanda, Amber, Brandon (Dana), Dylan, Cole, and Evan Moss, as well as Great Granddaughters Megan and Olivia.

Leonard will be remembered for his quiet strength, devotion to family, and lifelong sense of duty. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday, November 5 from 2 -4 o'clock.
