It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Salvatricia Barletta, who left us on Saturday October 18th at the age of 89 peacefully in her home (Caldera, Sicily) with her sister, Caterina, by her side

Beloved wife of the late Domenico Barletta, Salvatricia was the heart and foundation of her family — a devoted mother, sister, cherished Nonna, proud Bisnonna, and loyal friend to many. Her strength, wisdom, and unwavering love shaped the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her wit, selflessness, and resilience were unmatched. She showed you her love through her cooking—no matter what ingredients were available or what time you were walking into her kitchen

She is lovingly remembered by her sons Vincent (Erin) and Robert; her adored grandchildren Ashley (Jeff), Kristin, Nico, Rocco, Emilia, Luca, and Sienna and her great-grandchildren Sofia and Jack who brought her endless joy and pride. Salvatricia is predeceased by her beloved daughter, Cathy, with whom she is now reunited. Dear Sister of Domenica and Caterina. Predeceased by her Brother Frank and parents Francesco Marchetta & Caterina Andoloro.

Salvatricia will be remembered for her warm heart, her sharp mind, and her ability to bring people together. Her wise words, laughter, and steady presence filled her home with love and strength — a legacy that will continue to live on through her family for generations to come. Funeral arrangements will be announced upon her return to her adopted home of Canada.
