Obituary of Victor Phillip Denomy
It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Victor Philip Nelson Denomy age 86 at London Health Sciences Centre on Friday, October 3, 2025.
Victor is predeceased by his parents John and Adeline Denomy, brothers Gerard, Venne and Louis as well as sisters Emmeline Masse and Rose Overholt-Reynolds.
He is lovingly remembered by his step-children Deborah McCoy-Denomy and Michael McCoy-Denomy and is the cherished Uncle of several nieces and nephews, in particular Cindy Nicholson, Mary Ireland and Terry Masse.
Victor spent his early years as a musician. Most notably as a drummer for a band called The Stratotones. He enjoyed teaching drums at the Royal Conservatory of Music in London, Ontario for a time. In later years he worked in flooring sales well passed retirement age.
Special thanks to the nursing and urgent medicine team on D6 at LHSC for their care during Victor’s recent admission.
Cremation has taken place. Internment will take place with a private family service at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Hwy 21. St. Joseph’s Hay Township, Huron County.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
