On Wednesday, October 1st, at the age of 87, Joseph Francis Condorato was called home to God surrounded and comforted by family as he passed peacefully. Beloved husband of Dolores (Doris) for 67 years. Devoted father of Monica (Adelino) and Kevin (Heather). Loving grandfather of Maykayla (DJ), Noah and Nathan. Predeceased by his mother, father and siblings in Malta.
A gifted painter, Joe created oil paintings that brought others joy. His stories of adventure during his time in the Royal Navy in Malta always entertained his loved ones. He was happiest sharing with his family stories of his travels whilst enjoying a cup of tea and biscotelli. The family would like to thank staff at LHSC, Victoria Hospital who offered comfort during a difficult time. They would also like to thank staff at Dearness Home who cared for Joseph in his final months.
Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, October 6th from 2-4 P.M. with a prayer service at 2 o'clock. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street in London, on Tuesday, October 7th at 10 o’clock. Interment to take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery after the funeral.
