Obituary of Catherine Marie McManus-Cloes

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Catherine "Cathy" Marie McManus-Cloes, 62, on August 11th, 2025, in London, Ontario.

A loving mother, wife, sister, and friend to many, Cathy was the cherished daughter of the late Leona McManus and Joe McManus.

She ran several successful businesses over her career, always seeking out new challenges and giving back to the community where she could.

She loved reading, tending to her garden, doing puzzles, and practicing karate with her sons and Sensei Patrick Maguire. Cathy will be remembered for her boundless love, strength, sharp wit, and humor.

She is survived by her husband Gary, and her sons, Michael and Benjamin, who will all miss her so very dearly. She will also be deeply missed by her siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was a shining light to all who knew her, and we shall cherish the warm glow she left on our lives.

A closed casket visitation will be held at Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, on Thursday, August 21st, from 6:00–8:00 p.m.

A Graveside service will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery on Monday, August 25th, at 1:00 p.m.
