At Henley Place Long Term Care on Thursday, July 24, 2025, Audrey Prendergast, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Prendergast (2011). Proud and loving mother of Patrick Prendergast and his wife Eva, Brian Prendergast and his wife Jo Ann, Maureen Hunter and her husband Andy and Kevin Prendergast and his wife Sandi. Cherished grandmother of Evan (Sarah), Caley (Blake), Jason (Brianna), Lindi, Angela (Dylan), Breanne (Luke), Nathalie and Matthew. Proud great grandmother of Billy, Rose, Tommy, Noelle, Lyla, Daisy, Emma, Audrey, Oliver and Gavin. Audrey was a graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing and enjoyed a long and rewarding career as head nurse in psychiatric health care. She and Joe spent many years welcoming friends and family to their home for cards, music and good times. Special thanks to Audrey’s cousin and longtime neighbour Cheryl Nash, as well as the family of her late cousin Harold Wilkins, for their love and support. The family is grateful for the wonderful care Audrey received at Henley Place over the last three years.
Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Sunday, July 27, from 2-5 o'clock. Prayers will be held at 2:15 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Church, 377 Oakland Avenue, on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery.
