Peacefully on July 16, 2025, at the age of 86, Ron passed away with family by his side.  Loving husband of 54 years to the late Andrea Foslett (DeCoste) (2017).  Loving father to Robert (Dave), John (Pauline), Brad (Kavita), Awesome Papa (Pops) to Serina, Nico, Tyler, Anton and Owen.  Predeceased by his parents Orville and Cora Foslett, siblings Bruce Foslett and Dodie Moore.  Survived by siblings MaryLynne, Bill, Carol and Ted.  Also loved and remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Ron was born on May 27,1939 and raised in London and lived there his whole life.  As a teenager in 1954 until 1960 Ron worked the night shift 6 days a week at Bert's Tasty Yeast Donuts.  Lots of fun was had working alongside his future brother-in-law, Dave Moore.  Ron then started at NORTEL (Northern Telecom) in 1960 and worked for 35 years until his retirement.  He worked in plastics moulding then moved to shipping and receiving.

He loved his many cars he had over the years, especially his last one, a Honda Civic Turbo Coupe.  He loved dancing, going to the movies, playing golf, (especially at Tillsonview Fairway), watching hockey and baseball.  He was a dedicated NY Rangers, Phillies, and London Knights fan.  Ron also loved wood working in his "shop" in the basement where he made many things.  He loved to bake and was infamous for his butter tarts, Christmas cake, shortbread cookies and homemade jam.

He enjoyed being part of the Coachmen Trailer Club and travelling all over with his family.  After retirement he enjoyed annual trips to Florida, Myrtle Beach or the occasional cruise.  Ron enjoyed attending the London Knights games, as well as watching his grandkids play sports.  Ron was an avid parishioner at Mary Immaculate Church and then St. Patrick's Church.

Special thanks to the staff on the 7th floor at University Hosptial as well as staff at Southbridge LTC home.
