Obituary of Rosina Mazzilli

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Rosina Mazzilli announce her passing on Monday, June 23, 2025 in her 86th year.

Beloved wife of the late Giuseppe Mazzilli (2009) and adored mamma to Frank (Mickey), Anna, John (Alexandra). Cherished nonna of Briana (David), Joel (Madison), Noah, Andrew and Patrick and bisnonna of Olivia and Isaac. Predeceased by her parents Giovanni Iannantuono and Marianna Circelli, her brothers Carmine, Pietro and Salvatore and their wives Immacolata, Maria and Rosa, her baby brother Fortunato and her brothers in law Antonio Pepe and Salvatore Mazzilli. She will be dearly missed by her younger sister Maria Iannantuono, sister in law Maria Palumbo, brother in law Vincenzo Mazzilli and his wife Michelina Circelli along with her niece Semira of Texas and several nephews in Italy.  

Rosina came to Canada in search of a better life with her husband and young son Frank in 1968 and first settled in Montreal and later London. She worked tirelessly both in and out of the home and despite the many hardships was able to provide together with Giuseppe a bright and prosperous future for her family. She leaves us with a legacy of quiet strength, dedication to family, and an incredible love of life. We are comforted knowing she is finally reunited with her dear husband.  

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Ildiko Orosi for her special care of Mom in the last several years. You made her life better and we are grateful for the love and warmth you always brought to our home.   

Family and friends will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 6-9 pm.  Funeral Mass will be held at St Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Friday morning, June 27 at 11 am.  Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery.   If desired, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice.
