We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of this wonderful lady.
I knew Yvonne back in 1969 when I worked as a new R.N.at St Joseph Hospital.
My husband was a patient in 2 SW at St Joseph Hospital for several months in 1981 where Yvonne was the Head Nurse.
Yvonne was very special, always caring and supportive.
May she Rest In Peace, she will be forever missed. God Bless
David and Barbara White.

Yvonne was the woman who introduced my Mom (Ki (Kelly) Griffin) and Dad(Joe Griffin) to each other! My mother and her became great friends at nursing school and Yvonne then became the gracious "auntie" to us seven kids whenever she visited us in Michigan, even though she was really a second cousin. Yes, praise the Lord for Yvonne, always positive and joyful, inspiring all she came to know to be more loving, friendly and kind in their life relationships. Over the past years, I would come from Singapore and visit her at Masonville Manor with my younger daughter Jasmine to be inspired by her positive gracious attitude that always left us with the desire, the motivation to be just like her when we get older! Thank you Lord God for blessing all of us with the love and legacy of Yvonne MacMillan Keith! Michael J Griffin (griffin_michael@yahoo.com)

Family lore shares that Aunt Yvonne met Uncle Ron when I was born at St. Joe's and she was Mom's Nurse.
How fortunate we have been to have her in our lives.
She was so curious about the kid's and grandkid's activities and her questions were always engaging. She was the queen of open-ended questions and always made a conversation about you.
If she had a difficulty she rarely shared it. Her memory for people and events was astounding and she had a keen interest in current affairs and she loved a good laugh.
We know our parents cherished her friendship which was a great help to Mom after Dad passed. That little bit of rye that she and Mom shared before dinner carried a conversation a long way.
Our very sincere condolences to the Evanick and MacMillan families.

Aunt Yvonne was an integral part of our MacMillan family.
She would visit us wherever we were living, or even vacationing. She would also make an annual trip to Lake Simcoe. She’d join in on the fun and games. After sunset she, and her brother, would slip out to the back deck for a sip of rye and a secret cigarette.
She lived life well with care and kindness, love and joy.
