I am heartbroken to learn of Petra’s passing. My deepest condolences go to her family. I will forever remember her. We grew up together, and she was like a little sister to me. I always regretted losing track of her in her teenaged years, but was so glad to have the chance to reconnect as adults. I was looking forward to really getting to know her again. And I wish we had had more time, but it means the world that I got to see her and talk to her and let her know what she meant to me. She is forever in my heart, always loved and cherished. I know she is surrounded now by the love of animal friends from over the years, including Walter, the pigeon. Love you so much, Petra. Rest easy.
