With great sadness the family of Maria Bettencourt announce her sudden passing on January 18th, 2025 at the age of 64.

Devoted mother to Ashlee Mariah (Coffin), and Gary (Demelo). Proud Avo to Caleb, Alyssa, Dominic, Gianna Rain, Sevvia Jayde (Demelo), Matilda Mariah, Odin Edward, Kastiel Dean, and Wednesday Wilhelmina (Coffin). Sister to Maria Rosaria (DeMelo) and Alberto (Bettencourt). 

She will be dearly missed by her friends at The Ark, Safe Space, Hope House, and St. Joe's Cafe. 

Maria was predeceased by her parents, Manuel, and Maria Virginia; siblings, Vasco, and Fernando; and infant son, Robert.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Patrick's Church, 1251 Dundas St., London Ontario. Visitors will be received at Donohue Funeral Home at 2:00 pm, 362 Waterloo St at King Street., London Ontario. All are welcome.
