I had the pleasure of having Mr. Conlon in grades 3, 7 and 8 at Jean Vanier. (I later found out that his first name was Mike.) He had a combination of wit, knowledge and authority that I think captivated the students. Farewell and thank you, for your dedication Mr. Conlon. Deepest condolences to the family.

My deepest condolences to Mr. Conlon and his family. He was a kind and caring person who was an exceptional teacher. I knew him best during the time that he taught at Jean Vanier School where I Was a student in grade 7 in 1991. Throughout the years I would run into Mr. C As I called him At the No Frills Grocery store on the corner of Wharnclife and Baseline here in London. He was always happy to see me and lend a hand by Putting my groceries on the back of my power chair and making sure I got home ok. I also saw him a few * when I would attend St Martin's Church and a few times when he briefly drove for London's paratransit service. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Sincerely, Jason Marchand

Mr. Conlon was adored by many of the students at Jean Vanier Elementary School. He was one of our favourites. I still remember his fun loving and caring teaching style. He worked with my mother while at Vanier too and I have never forgotten his kindness to her as she fought cancer. Our sincere condolences, the Koehler family (Walter, Margo, Bradley, and Brent). Thank you Mr. Conlon for making learning fun and always being there for your students.

Mr. Conlon was one of my favourite teachers at Jean Vanier! He was one of those teachers that just connected so well with his students. He had such an easy going manner and a wonderful sense of humour. His dedication to his craft positively impacted so many lives, including mine. He will always be remembered. Thank you Mr. Conlon. I will always remember his smile, his positive energy, his deep faith, his committment to his family, to his students, to the Rosary. He was truly one of a kind and will be missed.
