Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 in his 89th year. Born in Zabrđe, Konjic, Hercegovina on August 24, 1933. Beloved husband of Anđelka Zovko for 57 years. Cherished father of Ivan, Jana (Ivan) Ćelić, Maria, Ružica (Niko) Perić. Loving dedo of Emilija (Nikola) Hestera and their son Mato, Marko, Mato, Luka, Ivana and Šimun Ćelić, Anđelka, Vido and Mara Perić. Survived by sister Anka Šošić as well as nieces, nephews and extended family in Croatia. Predeceased by parents Ivan and Janja Zovko, his brother and three sisters. Visitors are welcome to St. Leopold Mandic Croatian Catholic Church, 2889 Westminster Drive, on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
