Peacefully with family by his side at Dearness Home on Saturday, March 5, 2022 ,  Giuseppe “Joe” Viglianti in his 85th year. Born in Caraffa del Bianco, Italy on May 29, 1937. Beloved husband for 56 years of the late Connie Viglianti. Cherished father of Vincent (Pina Vecchio), Carmen and Angela. Proud grandpa of Vincent (Ashia Kopiak), Chiara (Nathan Soulsby), Alexandra, Austin and Courtney (Nik Dampier) and great-grandpa of John Joseph. Dear brother of Angela (Peter) Diaco, the late Rocco (Maria) Viglianti and Maria (the late Giovanni) Zangari.  Dear brother-in-law of Cathy (Wayne) Irving, Larry (Gail) Jolly, Fred (Sharon) Jolly, Karen Jolly and Peggy Peters. Predeceased by parents Vincenzo and Carmela Viglianti and his in-laws Cecil and Stella Jolly. Also predeceased beloved “pal” Benji. Survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 11 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday evening at 8 o’clock.
