Peacefully surrounded by her family at St. Joseph's Hospice, London on Thursday, March 3, 2022 Elizabeth “Liz” McKillican in her 71st year. Beloved wife of the late Brian McKillican (2018) for 44 years. Loving mother of Becky McKillican and her husband Ken Heintel and Tim McKillican and his wife Kristen. Proud and cherished grandma of Victoria, Jack, Samantha, Madelyn, Natalie and Evan. Dear sister of Dianne Matzelle (Bill) and Rudy Matzelle (Elizabeth).  Aunt Liz will be sadly missed by her nephews Trevor and Tracey and their families.

Liz was a beloved friend to many and has made a tremendous impact in the lives of those around her.  She was an incredible teacher for 32 years in the London Catholic School Board, touching many lives throughout her career.  Her joy and passion of life and travel was only unmatched by her love for her grandkids.  Her passion for travel brought her to many unique places around the world and she has now taken her final trip to heaven joining her husband Brian, her parents and her treasured dog Korbie. A most heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at St. Joseph Hospice for their amazing care and compassion.

Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday, March 6 from 2-5 o'clock.  Prayers will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter's Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, on Monday morning, March 7 at 11 o'clock.  Interment at a later date.  A celebration of Liz's life will take place at Sunningdale Golf Club, 465 Sunningdale Road West, on Monday, March 7 at 12:30 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph's Hospice of London would be appreciated.
