Pietrina Ianni

Obituary of Pietrina Ianni

Ianni, Pietrina

With her family gathered near, our beloved mom, Pietrina Ianni, took her last breath on November 24th, 2021 at the age of 86. Together with her husband, Arialdo (Deceased 1998) they created a legacy through the lives of their children Carmela Ianni, John and Chris Ianni, Gino and Kelly Ianni, & Nadia and Patrick Zeversenuke. She was a proud nana to Brad, Dallas, Candra (Colin), Aidan, Ava and Sara. Her greatest accomplishment was becoming a great nana to Braiden, Jade and her latest addition little Ryelee. She leaves behind sisters in law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends that have become more like family. Her relationship with God

was so strong and deeply supported through the community at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a beautiful group of women that constantly prayed together. Our mother was the happiest in the presence of her family and it was her greatest joy to feed not only our minds and souls with wisdom but our bellies with her delicious food. The family would like to thank the medical team at University Hospital that took care of her, especially Stephanie. Thanks to her retired family physician Dr. Malizia who took such good care of her for so many years. And lastly, we send a big thank you to Dr. Daniel Pepe and her team of palliative nurses especially her grandson Aidan (RPN) who cared for her every need in her final days and hours.
