One of my fondest memories was the year we spent Christmas holidays together at their home in New Brunswick. Oma and I were bathing my son on Christmas Eve. Without any warning, we heard heavy boots stomping and sleigh bells on the roof! My son yelled Santa is here! In a flash, he jumped out of the tub soaking wet, and started to run down the hall to get into his bed. Well, dripping water on the hardwood floors caused him to instantly slip and fall on his butt and slide all the way down the hall! We had many laughs and was so grateful for this special experience his Opa created. He was full of surprises, very generous, kind and loving.
My deepest condolences to the entire family for your loss. I know he will be truly missed.
Sincerely, Karen.
