To Gillian, Arianne, and Joe: please accept my sincere condolences at the passing of your mother/Aunt Jane. I always enjoyed my visits with her and your dad, both with my own family (Vince/VT, my mom, Marcie, and my brothers, Kevin and Phil) and later "solo" when I visited Ontario "solo" a couple of times in the 90's. One could easily tell that she so loved you and your dad/Uncle John Paul. She was always gracious, generous, and I would also say serene; such a wonderful person!
My last visit with and memory of her was in the mid-90's. I stayed with her overnight in your parent's condo there in London and also visited Aunt Marg in Bornholm. (Both your dad and Uncle Joe had passed away by then.) I took your mom and Aunt Marg out to dinner there in London. They chose the restaurant. I'll always remember our dinner because part way through our meal, the restaurant lost electricity. So our meal became an unexpected "candlelight dinner" and was enjoyed by the three of us.
Again, please accept my deepest sympathy at your loss. Aunt Jane will always be remembered very fondly, and with a smile, by me.
