Dearest Judy, Marisa, Ramona, Kareena, and all the family, You have been in our thoughts and prayers as dear Kevin went home to God. We are blessed to have known and loved Kevin and to have experienced his love and care. We have shared many happy, fond, and loving memories together in Mumbai, Montreal, Brampton, and Perth. Kevin was always warm, encouraging, and full of fun, going out of his way to connect with others and make a difference. I remember a visit to Canada when I was 15, and my travel plans changed. Instead of visiting Florida, Kevin and Judy spontaneously invited me to Montreal for a visit that I will always cherish. From picking me up at midnight and showing me Montreal by night to arranging for the rides at La Ronde amusement park to open just for me—it was truly special. Even more meaningful was visiting St. Joseph’s Oratory, the home of St. André Bessette, and later, Marie-Reine-du-Monde Basilica. It was a holiday I will never forget. As a 15-year-old, I was in awe of seeing Kevin chatting with our then-Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi, and, in later years, experiencing his friendships with priests, bishops, and cardinals from around the world. Most of all, I treasured his faith, simplicity, camaraderie, and warm sense of humour. It was wonderful accompanying him and Judy for Mass, praying the rosary together, or listening to Archbishop Fulton Sheen on a long drive. When we leave this earth, we take nothing with us—except for the beautiful memories we leave behind in the hearts of those we have loved. Rest in peace, my dear friend, until we meet again. Dear Judy and family. We are so saddened to learn of the passing of Kevin. Kevin was an icon and Pioneer and ahead of our times. His DNA included kindness, generosity, genuine concern, and he always helped people to succeed. He built success from his passion to excellence and strong family values. Dear Ramona and Phil and family, we are heartbroken to hear of the loss of your wonderful Father. He was a living saint and we have many fond memories of him over the years. He was so generous and always gave us a place to stay in Toronto. I even remember one time where I stayed with him in the special bishops room but got very sick and he and Judy took care of me. When I was in Rome he called me many times to try to organize a visit with his friend who is a Cardinal. He was such a charismatic and caring man and I will forever cherish the memories I have of him. God bless you all. We will be storming heaven for him.
