What an amazing Doctor!!! I know I will never find another to replace the caring, knowledgeable, hilarious man that Dr. Wahby was. I feel like his actual passing makes me mourn once more as I had already felt we had lost him as patients a few years back. But believe me, I am sure everyone, including me, relished in the fact he was taking some time to spend with his family and friends away from work. I pass my condolences on to all the family, and I know you know how lucky you were to have Dr. Wahby as the leader of the pack!! I am so sad to hear of the passing of Dr Wahby. He was our family physician for so many years that he felt like our family! That was his amazing gift, his ability to make connections with people. An excellent, hard working, intelligent doctor that always made you feel like you were cared for as one of his own. There is no one like him. Sending love to his family with my sincerest sympathies. Marlene and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Dr. Wahby was an incredible colleague, physician, and human being. He was my mentor for many years when I began my practice. I will never forget how he consistently took the time out of his busy schedule to help his colleagues with whatever they needed, both professionally and personally. To Dr. Wahbys entire family, we are sending our sympathy in the loss of your cherished husband, dad and grandpa. Dr. Wahby, graciously took us on as patients when we moved to Dorchester in the late 70’s and then again, when we returned to London after a 7 year stint in BC . He was always our “rock”, giving us the best care ever and always making sure that we received the care that was needed to address our condition. He was truly “one of the good guys”. He always made the dreaded Dr. appt, as pleasant as possible with caring, compassion and humor. We will forever consider it a privilege to have had this wonderful man who was our Dr and friend in our life. Dr Wahby was my doctor for over 40 years, he watched me grow up. He loved to chat about the goings on at the hospital when I would come for an appt. He was a wonderful support for me, both in nursing and my private life. He was the best diagnostician I have ever seen, even to this day! I know he will be missed greatly by his community and family. I absolutely loved Dr. Wahby, he was the best! One visit that stands out in my memory…something a little off colour was said during an exam, and boy, did we laugh! He said he was going to write a book about some things that were uttered in his office, said it would be a best seller. RIP Dr. Wahby, you’ll never be forgotten.

I am sorry to read of the passing of Dr. Wahby, our family doctor, and an icon in the medical field and community. I enjoyed going to see him, despite the need for medical attention, however I always said to myself before I went in “keep him on track” as we would always get visiting about everything else.
