Santagapita, Pasqualina - Mammas’s work is done. Pasqualina was a hard working, devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She will continue to guide and care for her family from heaven above. Pasqualina Santagapita (nee Moriniello), in her 100th year passed away the evening of Monday January 15, 2018 while surrounded by her devoted family. She was born in Campobasso, Italy in 1918. She was the oldest daughter of 21 children. She was an incredible woman of many talents. She loved to crochet, had an unbelievable green thumb, was a talented seamstress and a fantastic cook. She taught us to work hard and love even harder. Her loving memory will be cherished by her children, Joseph Santagapita (Christine), Mary Mazzotta (Tony), Len Santagapita (Patricia), Lucy Mazzorato (Sergio), and Anna Hilborn (Mark) along with her thirteen grandchildren and her fourteen great-grandchildren. Pasqualina was the beloved wife of the late Paolo Santagapita (1984), sister of Flora Malandra (Eugenio) and Aunt to Donata and Patricia. The Santagapita family invite you to celebrate Pasqualina’s blessed life. The funeral Mass celebration will be held on Thursday January 18, 2018. Viewing will take place prior to the Mass at St. Mary’s Church, 345 Lyle Street London, Ontario commencing at 9:30 am. Mass will immediately follow at 11:00 am. Pasqualina’s garden brought her tremendous pleasure and now she will enjoy the garden of Paradise forever. Those wishing to make a donation in Pasqualina’s memory are asked to consider St. Mary’s Church Restoration Fund or the Canadian Diabetes Society. (John T. Donohue Funeral Home)
