Vita, Lois Peacefully at LHSC Victoria Hospital on Thursday, December 28, 2017 Lois (McCabe) Vita in her 95th year. Dear wife of the late Frank Vita Sr.(2003) Loving mother of Michael and his wife Joan, Frank and his wife Mary Gillick. Dear Nana to Matthew, Laura and Mark. Dear sister-in-law to Lucille Vita and Pearl Vita. Predeceased by her brothers Wally and Art McCabe, sister Adele Valente and brother-in law Joseph Vita. Also survived by nieces Lori McSweeny and Valerie Kane, and nephews Michael and Art McCabe, and Paul Vita. Mom's zest for life and selfless attitude will be remembered by all who knew her. Special thanks for the wonderful care and attention given to mom by Dr. Catherine Walsh, and the compassionate and loving assistance provided by her two care-givers Yvette and Betty of Medical Priorities. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, January 1, 2018 from 2-5 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Divine Church, 390 Baseline Road West, on Tuesday morning, January 2, 2018 at 11 Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery.
