Obituary of Mario Pasquale Liberatore

Mario Pasquale Liberatore passed away at home on Sunday, October 8th, 2017 at 83 years old in London, Ontario. Cherished son of the late Giuseppe (Joe) and Adelina Liberatore, brother of the late Pietro and Antoinetta - and is survived by his sister Tina. Loving father of Joseph (Susan), Petronella (Fred) and Robert (Colleen), and daughter in-law Marisa. Doting grandfather of Brigette (great-grandson Logan), Joey, Mario, Jason (Amanda), Christopher, Jacob and Lucas. Mario is survived by his partner Camilla Kim, and his first wife and friend Joanne Liberatore (Charles). Born in Bomba Chieti, Italy in 1934, Mario emigrated to Canada at 21 years old with $15 to his name. Mario worked hard and became a prominent pillar in London’s development community. Mario devoted his life to building up his community and those around him, and enjoyed playing golf until his very last days. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Thursday morning, October 12th at 11 o'clock.
