Farrugia (Cassar), Mary Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital London, on Sunday, September 24, 2017. Mary Farrugia in her 81st year, born December 16th, 1936, in Malta. Loving wife of Carmel "Charlie" Farrugia for 55 years. Dear mother of Raymond, Simon (Jane) Farrugia. Cherished grandmother of Nathan, Sarah, Selena, Amberly and Alex. Mary is survived by her brother Frank Cassar (Giovanna). Predeceased by her sisters Jane Breman (John), Vera Cutajar (Anthony), Teraza Cassar, brothers Carmel Cassar (Rita), Paul Cassar (Erminia). Mary loved to play bingo, enjoyed going to the casino, the Maltese Club, and knitting at Springbank park every Sunday with her friends. Mary was a devoted Catholic and attended weekly mass at Mary Immaculate Church. She is now with Jesus and all those in heaven. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday, September 27th, 2017, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Mary Immaculate Church, 1980 Trafalgar Street, on Thursday afternoon, September 28th at 1 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
