Obituary of Leo James Maloney

Maloney, Leo James It is with deep, sadness that we announce the death of Leo James Maloney who passed on January 14th 2017 at LHSC. Leo was born in St. Mary's, Ontario in 1933 but lived most of his life in London, Ontario. He was active during his life, as a dedicated employee of Greyhound Canada, as well as an avid golfer and hockey player. Both sports provided an excuse and venue to meet others who became some of his most cherished friends. He is survived by his children – Carolyn (Dwight), Susan (Jamie), son David and grandchildren Adeline, Skyler, Matthew, Talbot, Lucas and Dana; his sister, Helen of Stratford and brother Gerald of Thunder Bay. Predeceased by his loving wife Lillian (nee Leblanc). A private service will be held after the flowers bloom, with notice to follow. The family asks that no flowers be sent. Donations can be made to your favourite charity or the Huff and Puff Hockey League, where Leo spent many of his happier days passing the puck and scoring a goal or two. The family wants to thank Kensington Village for all their wonderful care. (John T. Donohue Funeral Home)
