Obituary of Margaret Anne Drabick

Drabick, Margaret “Peggy” (nee Doxey) – Passed away suddenly at her home in London on Saturday, August 13, 2016. Margaret Drabick in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late Tony Drabick (1987) and loving partner of the late David Hopper (2010). Cherished mother of Teresa “Tess”, Gerry (Haerim) and Mark (Paula). Adored grandmother of Tara, Ji Ae and Marcel. Margaret is survived by her siblings Kevin Landon (Carol), Sheila Ryckman (Barry), Ed Landon (Brenda), Barry Landon (Donna), Rick Landon (Connie) and Brian Landon (Joanne). Predeceased by her father Frank Doxey (1944), her mother Cecelia nee McClean (2005), and by her dad Frank Landon (1999). She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours. Margaret received her B.A. and B.Ed from UWO. She taught mathematics for many years at Catholic Central High School and Regina Mundi College. Peggy loved bridge, Lexulous, quilting, gardening, live theatre and participating in the lives of her grandchildren. She will forever be remembered as a calm, intelligent, caring and generous woman. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday, August 19, from 2-4 and 7-9 o’clock. Funeral Mass at St. John the Divine Church, 390 Base Line Road West, on Saturday at 10 o’clock. Interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. If desired, donations made to the London Regional Cancer Program c/o London Health Sciences Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
