Peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on July 8th, 2016, in his 91st year. Loving husband of Ann (De Brouwer) for over sixty years. Proud father of Betty, Marianne (Arie), Paul (Cindy) and Mark (Louise). Beloved and fun-loving Opa to Kaitlin, Jill, Martin, Hannah, Elise, and Luke. Martin will be missed by his surviving brother and sister in the Netherlands as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews both in Canada and in the Netherlands. Our sincere gratitude to Dr. Kirk Hamilton and his team, to the CCAC and VON and to St Joseph's Hospice for their care and support. Visitors will be received at the JOHN T. DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London, on Tuesday, July 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Church, 511 Cheapside Street, on Wednesday, July 13th at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the London-Middlesex-Elgin VON would be appreciated. A tireless farmer your whole life, now is your time to rest.
