Obituary of Giuseppe Michienzi

Michienzi, Giuseppe "Peppino" Peacefully at his home with his family by his side, Giuseppe Michienzi on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in his 84th year. Much loved husband of Caterina Michienzi. Loving father of Angela Flamminio (Stefano), Giacomo "Jack" Michienzi (Ersilia), and Giuseppe "Joe" Michienzi (Sera). Very proud and cherished nonno of Michael, Juliana, Stefania, Justin and Daniel. Dear brother of the late Francesco and Caterina Michienzi (Italy), Antonio and Francesca Michienzi (Italy), Mariana and Biago Campisano (Italy) and Vincenzo and Rosa Michienzi. Dear brother-in-law of the late Francesco Carmine and Maria Michienzi, Agostino and Bianca Michienzi (Italy), Anna and Francesco Bretti (Italy), Vittoria and the late Teodorio Serratore (Italy), and Antonio and the late Serafina Michienzi. Zio Giuseppe will be sadly missed by all his many nieces, nephews and their families in Canada and Italy. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday, May 19th, from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary's Church Restoration Fund or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
