Suddenly at home on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, John Battista Sorrenti at the age of 80. Loving husband of Joanne. Loving father of the late John D. A. Sorrenti (2005) and Maria Clarke. Proud Nonno of Claireese, Christian, Kieren and Kiera. Dear brother of Vince (Krista) Sorrenti, Sebastian (Yolanda) Sorrenti, and Connie (Tony) Sorrenti. Brother in law of Carmalina Sorrenti. Predeceased by his brother Frank Sorrenti. John will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday, February 12 from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Peter's Basilica on Saturday morning at 9 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum-St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
